Brant October 04, 2011 for Model Number whirlpool du930pwsqo None of the lights on my control panel light up and the dish washer does nothing when you press the start button. I have 122 volts after the thermal fuse where the wires plug into the board itself. How do I determine if it is the board or the panel and ribbon that is my problem?
1 Answer Hello Brant. You will need to test the thermal fuse 675813. It should read closed for continuity. The wires will hve voltage, but if the fuse is open it will not work. If it is good, replace the control panel. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
Frank September 27, 2011 for Model Number DU915PWPS0 My dishwasher was not working last night. I pressed the button on the front panel without any motor activity. The Cancel/Drain was not activating. However, this morning, I pressed "Start" and it started working. Why?
1 Answer Frank, You most likely have an intermittent circuit on the control panel keypad(s) WP8535166. Its a common issue and is usually due to age and usage. You can check and clean the insertion end of the ribbon assembly and re insert it into the control board connector, but you will need to replace it eventually. Good Luck and Thanks Read More...
Dan September 24, 2011 for Model Number du915pwpbo Control pln. will not light up. I checked switch and thermal res. I can ohm thru the switch and thermal res. Noticed blue spot on ribbon cable from cont. pnl. Looks like it could have burnt the trace on ribbon cable. Could this cause cont. pnl. to not work.
1 Answer Hi Dan. This burnt spot will definitely short the ribbon cable. The panel is part # WP8535166 for black. For white it is part # WP8535167. Foe biscuit it is part # 8535168. Thank you. Read More...

Joe August 26, 2011 for Model Number 665.13699k600 I cannot choose which cycle I want exept the QUICK RINSE and this is ONLY if the HEATED DRY doesn't decide to light up along with the LOCK ON and the DELAY HOURS #2. If I try removing LOCK ON by pressing HEATED DRY for 4 seconds as indicated the CANCEL DRAIN light comes on and then the diswasher free games switching from one cycle to another and does not stop unless I open the door. Could p/n W10039780 be my problem.

Steve August 21, 2011 for Model Number DU915PWPT2 The dishwasher control panel does not light up at all. I have checked the circuit breaker and it is on. I installed new switches (purchased through your company)but still no power. Should I replace the fuse or just assume the control panel is bad?
1 Answer Hi Steve. Use a volt meter and check the power at the control board. The tan 120vac positive comes into the board from the fuse. The white/violet is the neutral at the board. If you do not have power there, you will need to back up your red volt meter (positive) lead to the Tan coming into the fuse for 120vac. You need to keep in mind that you have the door latches tripped (or bypassed/ jumped) in order to make these voltage checks. You will be safer by removing power and checking the fuse with your ohm meter to be closed. Keep working in reverse all the way back to the junction box (or start there) to verify circuit power. Let us know so we can assist you further. Thank you. Read More...
Dan August 14, 2011 for Model Number du930pwsq0 The dishwasher goes through a complete cycle on any setting, but will not drain untill you push drain button after cycle complete.
1 Answer Hi Dan. You will need to replace the control board part # W10039780. If you can drain it seperately, then the command/timer on the board is not giving the command at the proper time. Thank you. Read More...
