Karie January 21, 2026 for Model Number KSCS25FKSS01 I want to replace the lower door cam in my KitchenAid Refrigerator. The cam part that you sell to replace it is WPW10329686. My door cam is riveted to the metal hinge. There is no screw to remove the cam like in your repair video. How would you suggest I go about fixing this in order to use this cam? Please advise and let me know if you have any videos on how to do this kind of repair. If I am not able to make this work, I am unsure what other options are available. Thank you for your help!

The hinge has discontinued by the manufacturer and is no longer available for purchase. Joel August 29, 2020 for Model Number WP2182179 AP6005980 I installed the bottom and top cams on left side non freezer side, on a Kitchen Aid side by side, using APP parts and video with no problems (Thanks). But my wife is concerned with my repair job because there is a slight abrupt drop and thud sound when she opens the door more than 90 degrees. I told her that is the door cams locking the door open for when you are loading groceries. Is this suppose to happen? I have installed the cams 2 times past 10 years previously on this17 y/o frig, using parts from other discount companies and this has not happenned before. The parts operated smoother and lock the door open past 90 degrees but not as abruptly, but don't last longer than 3-4 years so that's why I chose APP parts this time. View from side of bottom of frig seems to indicate both cams fitting flush against eachother w/ door closed. And door stays closed even when shutting other door hard. Order #11888255
