All top burners not lighting. No "clicking" at all. Could it be all igniters have gone bad or possibly the igniter module?

Scott, With none of the burners igniting, the most likely cause for the failure would be a faulty spark module. The part number for the spark module is 32020101.

Both back burners had no spark. I replaced the ignitors as every burner control activates a spark on the front two burners. They still don't work, but had strange symptoms; The back left burner ignitor was replaced first and tested. it worked. When the they were all connected the front right burner and the two back burners failed to spark. I now can get the front right to spark if the burner has a flame going, or if I hold a lighter to the ignitor it's self, but not otherwise, although it had been working fine until my "repair". Seems like the module must be bad, for the rear two, but I can't figure the new problem. Ideas?

Mike, It sounds like there is a short in the spark module which could create the issue that you are having with the right front burner.

The igniter on the stove continuously stay on, creating a spark, even though the knobs are in the off position. I have to cut off the power to get them off. The stove works if burners are lit with a match/lighter. Is it the ignitors, ignitor switch or ignition module thats the problem?

Hello Steve. One of the spark switches WPY0316705 is bad. You can test and see which one stays closed and replace that switch. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. We have some burners that no longer ignite. I think the part I would need is the Top Burner Igniter PN AP4283295. Is that the likely part. Some burners still work. Any possibility of having a PDF copy of the repair manual being sent so that I can determine if there are other parts that should be replaced if this does not solve the issue? Douglas, The burner igniters WPY0316773 is a good guess, they can get corroded and damaged from spillage and boil overs, But can usually be cleaned and operate properly. A better guess would be a faulty spark module WP31962701, or faulty igniter switch WPY0316705 or wire.

The oven will not put heat when it needs to .Shows temperature of 105 F. I have to turn it on and off about 10 times before starts working .What should I do to fix it? Thank you

Milena, You will want to check to see if the igniter is working. To do this you will test for 3.2-3.6 volts AC at the gas safety valve with the igniter turned on. If the voltage is there, you have a bad safety valve. If the voltage is low, you have a weak igniter and the igniter will need to be replaced. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. The front left burner doesn't work any longer. I still hear the "clicking" trying to ignite it, but no spark, no flame. All other 3 burners are working fine. Any ideas? Thanks!

Hello Terry, You will want to make sure that the ignitor is not cracked or broken. If it is then it will need to be replaced. Check to make sure that the ignitor is set properly in the burner as to be able to arch and spark. A lot of times when cleaning unit the ignitor can become out of position due to the rag catching it cause it to move.

Spark igniter is working on only one burner. When I look at the others(lifting the cast iron caps)...one is barely sparking and will not ignite the gas and the two other show no sign of spark at all. Do I need to simply replace the igniters on the other 3?

Hello Dave. Check and make sure all the burners are clean and if so, it sounds like the module 32020101 is bad and will need to be replaced.

I ordered replacement igniters (part number 8523793) for an Amana Gas Cooktop. However the igniters do not match the existing ones. They are too long and the mounting brackets are lower on the igniter and they will not fit under the burner cap. How can I return the 4 igniters and how can I find out correct replacements?

Hello Jim. The spark switch on the unit is bad. The spark switch has been permanently discontinued by the manufacturer and we don't know of any source or replacement for the part.
