The Oven Bake Element is an OEM part for Whirlpool ovens. This crucial component is responsible for providing the heat necessary for baking. Located at the bottom of the oven, the bake element heats up when electricity passes through it, allowing your oven to reach the desired cooking temperature. This OEM Replacement Part has push-on terminal ends and measures approximately 23-5/8"wide x 15-3/8" long, with 3-3/8" inserts

Symptoms of a failing oven bake element include:

  • Lack of heat production when the oven is turned on
  • Uneven baking results
  • Visible damage to the element such as blistering or splits
  • A trip in the circuit breaker when the oven is activated

Causes of bake element failure typically include thermal stress causing material fatigue, accidental damage during cleaning, and electrical issues such as short circuits.

This OEM part is also compatible with Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper, and Kenmore models.

If you are unable to use your old connectors order TJMA02875-1.

Hello Ronald, The primary difference will be in the wattage and the length of the element past the mounting brackets toward the rear protective cover of the oven. If the wattage is not correct you will never be able to get a recipe to come out right. The element are WP74003019 2800 watts and WP74010750 is 2585 watts. You are welcome to order the one you want but we cannot guarantee one to work properly without the model number of the unit needing the element. Thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter.
