The Range Element Kit is an OEM part for Whirlpool ranges. This kit typically includes elements used for heating the oven or stovetop, ensuring efficient and even cooking or baking. The element measures 16" wide and 16" from the mounting plate to the other side. The terminal depth is 3", and the total element length is 19". It is rated at 2100 watts and 240 Volts.

I wanted to confirm this element works with my in-wall MagicChef oven? I can only find the last 4 model numbers of the oven "2XUB" The look, fit, and size are all the same, 2 vertical connection terminals. The oven does say this bottom element should be rated for 2.7KW. Part Number 04000047. Thanks!

Lisa, You may need to use a set of pliers to remove the terminal connectors.

Based on my replacement element I would assume that after I remove the two screws I should be able to life the enclosed wiring behind the plate to release the current element. It did not work.

Hello Lance, sometimes the wires attached to the element terminals are very short and do not allow access to them from inside the oven, in that case, the oven has to be unmounted and the back panel removed to access the wiring.

Based upon the new element that I received, I would assume that to remove the old element, I would have to push the enclosed wiring up to release the old element. I cannot get it to move. Am I doing something wrong?

Lance, The wires for the element screw into place and you would need to remove the screws and then you can pull the element out and install the new one.

I removed the broken bake element from the upper oven and it had a 3-wire setup. Two of the wires had standard spade connectors and were removed easily. The 3rd wire (ground?) was attached to a small metal plate on the right side of the element. The plate had a larger hole in it that the element went through. It also had a smaller hole for a screw terminal which the wire was wrapped around. This 3rd wire is stranded wire. The new elements only have the two spade connectors. What do I do with the 3rd wire? Should I solder it to the element? Do you sell those metal plates with screw terminals? Or can it be attached to the wire on the right side and run through the same spade connector?

Hello Marc, early range/stove production had a separate ground wire for the oven element, That is no longer used as it is grounded through the mounting screws now.

This oven is 18 years old, it just started yesterday to take a long to time to heat, and it never got to the requested temperature. Could this be the heating element going bad?

Can you confirm the correct heating element for my oven. This is a 2 oven Wall unit and the oven element is not working. The lower oven and broiler still work fine but I need to replace the upper oven element. It is 16.5" x 16" and 43 years old. The site crosses it over to Y04000066. Is this correct?

Roland, The bake element for your unit is part number 1938261 which unfortunately has been discontinued by the manufacturer with no suitable replacement.

Hello Chris. Two wires should be the same color and 1 different. 2 same goes to 1 terminal and the different goes to the other terminal.
