Rob, This issue would most likely be caused by either a bad touchpad with stuck keys or the control board. Since there appears to be no error code coming up the control board would be most likely.

Hello Vani. The first thing to check here is for a loose or bad connection in the unit. If the connections are good, then it sounds like the control board 8206603 is bad and will need to be replaced in the unit. If the board is bad, it can cause the unit to just stop and shut off. But this can also be due to bad connections. You will need to remove the outer cover and check and see if any are bad.
