Hello Lee. The front cover unsnaps from the door. You use a flat blade putty knife and start at the bottom and unsnap it from the dispenser assembly. These can be very tight so be careful not to break it.

Hello Gail, I'm sorry but we need you to verify the model number from the units' I.D. tag. If you could please provide this verified number in a new question, we will be able to provide you with accurate information on the unit in your home. This could be why the compatibility tool is not recognizing the numbers put in. Another determining factor is the fact that when a part number crosses, the compatibility tool does not recognize the cross as a proper part for the model number provided. Thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter.

Larry, The first thing that I would be looking at would be the compressor as causing the unit to trip the breaker. What you can do is to remove the start relay off the compressor and see if the unit can be plugged in without tripping the breaker. If it does then the compressor is faulty and would need to be replaced. The part number for the compressor is W10139462 and would require a technician to install. The part number for the icemaker is WPW10190965.

Timothy, You will want to use a insulated jumper wire and remove the cover of the icemaker. Put the jumper between T & H terminals. Using a multimeter, you will want to let the icemaker get to the 11 o clock position and check from V to N terminals on the icemaker to ensure that there is 120 vac at this point when the unit calls for water. If there is 120 vac then pull the icemaker out and check for a frozen fill tube and if there is clear the fill tube. Then you will want to replace the water valve.

Pete, If you look at the very bottom of the outer trim piece on the dispenser, there are 2 slots, one on either side. You will need to use a flat blade screwdriver and slide up into the slots. Pry out on the trim piece and it will pop the bottom out. Do this on both sides. Once you do this you will lift the dispenser trim up and off.

Gabe, if you have recently replaced the water filter try dispensing at least a gallon of water continuously to purge any air in the water line. If that doesn't help you'll need to replace the water inlet valve, part number W10408179. Thanks.
