Hi Mark. The fill should be around to just hitting the bottom of the heater. Make absolutely sure that the unit is level from front to back and side to side still w/ all four legs tight on the ground. The float stem needs to be on top of the float switch so it can go up and down properly. Thank you

Hi Ebizsearch1. There is a float assembly that is approx. 2-1/2" in diameter, usually on the right front of your tub. This lifts up and down along with the amount of water in the tub. On the bottom of the dishwasher is the float -switch. The float stem has to always be in direct contact with the switch in order for the switch can open or close depending on the float "measurement". The switch controls the fill amount by letting 120vac to go to the water valve, controlling the water valve solenoid coils to be energized. I suspect that by your question, that the water valve is ok. I would focus on the float switch part # [3369067]. The float assembly part # is WP3376397. As the float lifts up, it will shut off the water. Thank - you.

Hello Stan. Check and see if there is suds inside the dishwasher, while it's running. If there is to much soap or rinse aid, it can cause the dishwasher to leak. If there is no suds, you will need to check the door seal WPW10509257 and see if it's bad and leaking. Hope this helps.
