Michael H December 25, 2015 for Model Number KFIS25XVMS00 Recently cleaned the refrigerator because of spills. I now notice the crisper bins seem to be rubbing the rails and wearing out the plastic of the frame. Is this something that happens after so many years and I just have to replace the pieces or is something else wrong. Is there some type of lubricate we washed off, glides missing or?

John H January 04, 2015 for Model Number KFIS25XVMS2 I'm looking for the center rail support for the crisper drawers that hang from the crisper frame. I don't see that part on the parts explosion. Is that part available separately, or does it come with the crisper frame? My refrigerator is a KitchenAid model KFIS25XVMS2, serial KY44772280. I did see another person ask a similar question about his same part for a different model refrigerator. I checked that part, W10326469 (AP4695676), and it did not cross reference as a part for my model.

1 Answer Hello Maytag123123, The complete crisper should simply slide out. Unfortunately, there are no instructions in print. You will just have to watch closely what you take apart and possibly take pictures of the assembly before dis-assembly to refer to during the reassembly process. The glass in these are common to stick in place from spills so be careful to avoid cuts and personal injury. In some cases it helps to soak the assembly in warm soapy water in the bathtub. Dennis December 17, 2013 for Model Number KFIS25XVWH1 I have a Kitchenaid KFIS25XVWH1 Refrigerator and the 2 drawers that hang from the bottom big shelf have a center support that one end has broken off. I can not find that center support in any of the diagrams on line. My only conclusion is that it might be part of the bottom shelf frame. Which might make sense since I do not see a method to put a full support back in unless you can take the whole frame apart. The issue I have is none of the pictures for the large shelf frame show a middle support in them so I hate to spend almost $100 to find it is not built into frame. Any help ?
