Gerald, If you operated the fridge foe an extended period of time, with the poor water pressue, you may have damaged the solenoid on the water valve. Also check and flush the water supply line, if you didn't already, and check to make sure you didn't loosen the wires on the solenoids by accident. Good Luck and Thanks

Hello Lauren, you are unable to bypass the icemaker as it contains the defrost mechanism for your fridge to automatically defrost. You can replace the complete icemaker with part number 4389195 or repair the current icemaker with part number 4318061 and 978140. Thanks!

Hi Arvee. You will need to install the water valve behind the fridge on the rt. lower corner. The tubing should be from the water valve output to the ice maker. The supply will hook up to the inlet to the valve. The fill tube will go into the round peel off sticker on the back upper rt. of the cabinet. You will install ant mount the ice maker . Make sure as you tighten the ice maker to the inside of the cabinet that you level it, then install the bottom front screw. Make sure that the bail arm is dowm. It should start to cycle when the ice maker reaches freezer temperatures. Thank you.
