Ryan October 14, 2015 for Model Number AFI2538AEB I am looking at this replacement ice maker and I would like to know if the complete set for $150 includes all the solenoids and switches. None of the pictures show a view of the back with the motor and solenoid so I would like to make sure they are included. Our ice maker does not fill or cycle. I am guessing it is the ice maker and not the water valve. We do get water out of it. I just want to make sure I get all the parts I need to replace it the first time. Thanks.
1 Answer Ryan, The icemaker would have the necessary components would be in the icemaker for fill and operation. Read More...
R Belk September 05, 2015 for Model Number mf12568aew How to remove the existing ice maker for full replacement?
1 Answer R. Belk, When you open the refrigerator door, remove the ice bin. On the lower left side of the ice compartment there is a small hole, place a small screwdriver in the hole and pry up. This will release a tab that will allow you to pull that cover off. Once off disconnect the wire harness. There is a tab on the left side of the icemaker that you release to slide the icemaker out. Kay June 02, 2015 for Model Number MFI2568AES I replaced my original icemaker with W10519364, it fit just fine however there is a tiny leak where the water gets on the spiral thingy which dispenses the ice, it freezes and stops working. The original icemaker did not do that before it stopped working. Is it the new part? Is it me? Is it the universe? Please help, I was a hero for about 2 days while the new one made ice before it stopped dispensing. Thank you for your help.
1 Answer Kay, You will want to check the bottom of the icemaker for a leak. It sounds like this would be the issue with the unit. Possible that the icemaker is defective. Read More...
Gerald W May 16, 2015 for Model Number AFI2538AEQ I installed new ice maker W10519364. It makes ice but won't dispense it.
1 Answer Gerald, You will want to make sure that all connections at the wire harness are good and that there are no loose connections. If the connections are good then you will want to determine if the motor for the auger is getting power to it. Also check to make sure that the bin is in properly. If there is power to the auger but it is not turning then the issue will be a bad auger motor. Read More...
Charles April 23, 2015 for Model Number mfi2868aeb Is there a water adjustment for ice maker part no. w10519364.
1 Answer Charles, Unfortunately on this icemaker there is not a water adjustment screw. If there is too much water getting into the icemaker then you would want to look at a possible issue with the water valve seeping causing water to drip into the icemaker. Read More...

Rick May 03, 2014 for Model Number 59677533600 I am trying to remove icemaker 67006333 and replace with W10519364. I am having trouble getting 67006333 out. Seems to be on a rail and I can't see any screws holding it in. How does this come out?
1 Answer Rick, To remove the icemaker from your unit you will need to use a small flat blade screw driver, there is a cover that has a hole in it and you will use the screwdriver to release the cover. Slide the cover forward and remove. Once removed there is a tab at the side of the icemaker that you will pull out on then pull the icemaker out. Make sure you disconnect the wire harness.
