Rob December 03, 2017 for Model Number g16farxxy08 I've replaced the ice maker on my g16farxxy08 with the ice maker model W10882923. I'm still not getting ice. I've also replaced the fill valve, and not getting any ice. I've tried the jumper wire but that doesn't seem to do anything either, maybe i'm jumping between the wrong points? Anything I can do to confirm it's the ice marker and not some other board inside the fridge?
1 Answer Rob, You will want to check to make sure that the fill tube is not frozen. If the fill tube is frozen then will need to be thawed. If it is not frozen then this will be a faulty main control board that would cause the icemaker to not work. Read More...
