1 Answer Hello Robert. You will need to check and make sure the tub turns freely by hand. If it is tight, you will need to check for something between the inner and the outer tubs. If it is free, you will need to test the motor. With an ohmmeter, check for continuity between all pins on the P5 machine/motor control connector and the drive motor connector. ? If there is continuity, replace the drive motor. ? If there is no continuity, replace the lower machine harness. If the motor is good, you will need to replace the control board WPW10189966. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Jerry March 12, 2011 for Model Number 110.27092600 My Kenmore Elite top loading washer (with glass lid) wobbles out of control when it reaches the spin cycle and shuts down with UL (unbalanced load) indicator. The springs and hanging rods are okay and in good shape. There is a L shaped metal counterweight fastened to the underside of the plastic outer drum. Is it possible that the load positioning sensor is defective? Does this sensor adjust for counterbalance? I have no other codes displayed except for the UL code when it wobbles out of control.
