Sharon October 05, 2019 for Model Number GHW9150PW1 Im renting and have acquired a Whirlpool Duet washer that is missing the control knob. The washer was set on normal and worked great, but after my water heater broke and flooded my utility room, I jerryrigged the washer setting to the drain and spin cycle for my soaked towels. Now I can’t get back to normal. My system of using a hex wrench doesn’t change the settings and is stuck. It seems like the control shaft is stuck. How can I fix this?
1 Answer Sharon, Based on the stem being stuck and not turning then this would be a faulty user interface board that would need to be replaced. The part number is WP8182785. Read More...
Timothy February 02, 2018 I ordered this part to replace the knob on my whirlpool washer but the knob was meant for a shaft that is smaller than the one on my washer. I mistakenly assumed that a whirlpool knob should fit almost any of their dryers. Is there a part that fits a slightly larger shaft?
1 Answer Hello Timothy, I'm sorry but we will need to ask you to post a new question including the model number from your units' I.D. tag so we can recommend parts that can be guaranteed to work properly on your unit. Thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter. Read More...

Nick November 13, 2016 for Model Number w10007190 I broke the control knob and the little shaft off of my washer. The knob itself actually seems to be fine, but I can't seem to find the replacement part for the shaft.
1 Answer Nick, the control knob shaft is actually part of the User Interface WP8181905. You will need to order the user interface in order to receive the shaft. ( the part number is for example ONLY, you didn't include the model number of your washer or we would've researched further and given you the correct part number). Read More...
