Maggie July 18, 2016 for Model Number WMH1164XWS-1 I need to replace the light bulb in my microwave, and when I unscrewed it the glass shattered and left the metal casing in there. It's in such a tricky spot (above the stove, on the wall) that I can't get it out. What's the safest way to go about this? Shall I unplug it from the power and then use plyers to get it out? I hate to call an electrician out just to change a light bulb!. Please help.
1 Answer Hello Maggie. Yes, you can do it that way. Just be careful not to damage the light socket. Read More...

How might I remove the bulb base after unplugging the unit from the electric source??? Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Richard Courey
1 Answer Richard, With the unit unplugged you can try to get the base of the bulb out with a pair of needle nose pliers or use a small piece of potatoe and push it over the base and try to twist it out. Read More...
