Joe May 15, 2019 for Model Number WRS325FDAM01 LEDs in the fridge are very dim and freezer has no lights at all. Door light near the ice dispenser works. Wires going to fridge LED board do not appear frayed and door switch appears functional. Purchased W10515058 and it fixed the issue with the fridge lights for about 40 days but the issue came back. Issue appears to be the R15 resistor. Please assist.
1 Answer Joe, you will want to test the freezer LED for 12VDC from grey wire with red probe to yellow wire with black probe. If there is voltage there, then you will want to change out the freezer light [WPW10515057]. If there is not voltage then you will want to test for 12VDC leaving the lower refrigerator light from red wire with red probe to grey wire with black probe. Jason April 15, 2019 for Model Number WRS325FNAM Our Whirlpool first started having troubles with the freezer light. It finally went out completely. Then a few days later the 2 led lights in the refrigerator side became super dim. I took down the light in the ceiling (W10515058) and wiggled the connections. The light actually came on, but when I pushed the door switch it went back to dim and I could never get it back to full again. I'm not sure where to start.

Frank April 12, 2019 for Model Number MSB27 C2XAM00 Led light w10515058 was replaced 3 times in 2018, out again. They work for 3 months, any help as to why?
1 Answer Frank, you will want to test the voltage going to the primary bulb in the top refrigerator section. 120VAC should be going to it at the yellow wire when the door switch is in the open position and 0VAC when the switch is pressed in. If there is a constant 120VAC, then one of the door switches has failed and both would need to be tested. Another thing that can impact a light module is frequent opening and closing of the door causing the light to come on and off frequently throughout a day. Mark March 28, 2019 Hot LED board. I have a light that is part number Whirlpool W10515058 LED Light . The first one stopped working and after taking it out I noticed a "burnt" smell and R15 and R17 were discolored on the circuit board with the LEDs on it. I purchased another "new" one (not really sure about it due to damage on lens) and that one went dim (not out) and the same area of the board was really hot after I took it out. Ideas?

Donald March 06, 2019 for Model Number WRS322FDAW04 Hi, both fridge and freezer lights were out I purchased a fridge light/module plugged in fridge they were perfect. I opened freezer it appeared only 1 led glowing dim. within 30seconds they all went out. so I unplugged the freezer light and it didn't help the fridge remained out. Does the freezer light have to also work to have fridge light work? I couldn't get a reading from the connector so I probed the freezer pcb where the yellow/grey wire is and with pcb attached it read 4.8v. what to door purchase? I am wondering if the new fridge light module was defective. thanks
