Nick January 25, 2012 for Model Number SF385PEEQ The right front burner has no spark, but when the knob is turned on it calls for spark and all three other burners have spark. Is it the right front ignitor or the spark module? How can I be sure which it might be?
1 Answer Nick, It could be the igniter W11117434 , igniter switch W10851457 , or wiring. You'll need a multimeter to test the switch and wiring TJMA-DMT3 and here's some meter usage information,[http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html] Everything is pretty easy to access, and once you've checked for proper circuitry, then replace the spark module WP8053421. Me Fusco November 20, 2011 for Model Number kgst307hbl4 My KitchenAid gas oven broiler will not work. We replaced the ignitor, and that did not work. I smell gas, so I think there is gas coming through the line, but no flame, and the broiler does not fire up. Could it be the spark module?
1 Answer Hi Me. The igniter ohms out between 50-800 ohms cold. If you see a visible crack in the center of it, it will light but not pull enough current to open the safety valve. Put a amp probe around one of the igniter wires. It should draw between 3.2-3.6 amps within 30-45 seconds to open the gas valve. Since you smell gas, it tells me that the igniter is not getting hot enough. Make sure the orifice is not plugged and you are getting a partial gas flow. The igniter is part # WP9782065. Is the broiler diffuser not directing the gas flow. Part # 8187945. Thank You. Read More...
Barb October 12, 2011 for Model Number kitchen aid kgct305gbl1 (cooktop) My cooktop right side which is the smallest burner lights up but is only on the very low flame even if you turn the knob to the highest setting. Can the cooktop flame be adjusted and do the top have to be taken out. The top and bottom burner appears to be clean. Thank You Barb
1 Answer Hi Barb, Have you taken a safety pin and thourally cleaned all ports in the orifices and burner ports? They will plug as people clean them with dish soap, (very common). The burner orifice is part # 3192525 Rt. Front. Part # WP3192523 for the Rt. Rear. The burner valve part # is WP3191293, for the RT. Rear. RT. Front burner valve is part # WP3191292Please let us know if we can assist further.Thank you. Read More...

Jim March 27, 2011 for Model Number KGCS105GBL2 None of the burners on the cooktop will ignite. The gas works but there is no spark. Is the problem most likely the spark module? Is this the correct one for this model? Does it come with complete installation instructions? Thanks,
1 Answer Hello Jim. If all of the burner are affected then it does sound like you might have a bad spark module. Part number WP8053421 should fix your problem. Hope this helps and good luck.. Read More...
