1 Answer Robin, the indicator beside the heated dry button is the lock symbol. You can lock the control panel from being used. Press and hold the heated dry button for three seconds to lock the controls and do the same to unlock them. Hope this information helps you, thanks! Read More...
Jeff February 12, 2012 for Model Number mdbh945aww Hi, My quite 200 will not start. The only membrane button that works is the lockout. I can lock it or unlock it, but none of the other buttons will light or change cycles or temps. What is the MOST likely culprit? Two of the parts are very expensive( controller board and con-panel). one of them is not( door latch switch). If the part you buy does not fix the problem can it be returned? Thanks, rally sorry i bought this dishwasher. seems to be a lot of dis satisfied owners on line. thanks, Jeff
1 Answer Hello Jeff. Based on the information you provided, it sounds like the control panel 6-919833 is bad and will need to be replaced. Hope this helps. Read More...
Scott January 30, 2012 for Model Number MDBH945AWQ3 I cannot start the dishwasher. I can change some of the options-Cycle Select/Delay/High Temp Wash, etc.....but just cannot start the washer and it feels like there is no tactile response or push-feeling like on the other buttons. Can I assume my contol board is okay and that I only need the control panel?
1 Answer Scott, Very good, you're right on target, Go with the control panel, first. If you have a multimeter, you can check each button circuit using the tech data sheet attached to the backside of the kickplate. Good Luck and Thanks Read More...
Lilelm6236 January 01, 2012 for Model Number MDBH945AWW3 My control panel will not work at all. The lights do not come on and it is not starting up like it is not getting electricity at all. Do you know what the cause could be? Thanks
1 Answer Hello Lilem6236. Test for power coming to the control board. If there is power there, and the ribbon cable for the control panel is clean and dry, replace the board WPW10218834. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter.
