Hello J.L.C., I'm sorry if there are parts you need for your unit that are no longer available. You should contact the manufacturer with this type of complaint since we only sell parts and do not manufacture any appliances or parts. This should explain the statement, " I'm sorry but this part has been discontinued by the manufacturer and no satisfactory substitutions have been provided", that we post on the parts that the manufacturer no longer offers as an available part.

Karl, The F-1 would be a caused by a humidity sensor error. You will want to disconnect the sensor fromt he control board and measure the resistance terminal to terminal (using the R x 1000 resistance scale on the meter). The resistance that you should read normally is as follows: Black to red 5.2K ohms, red to white 2.1 Kohms and from black to white 2.1 Kohms. Abnormal reading would be an infinite or several. Sensor cooking condition: the oven should be plugged in at least 5 minutes before using sensor cooking. The room temp should not exceed 95 degrees. Be sure the exterior of the cooking container and interior of the oven are dry. The oven will not generate microwave energy for the first 28 seconds of the sensor cooking cycle. The part number for the sensor is 8184814
