Jorge April 18, 2015 for Model Number MLE2000AYW The machine is making a noise like an electric contact noise when it needs to pump out the water or changing cycles. it will pump all water out just noise changing cycles.
1 Answer Jorge, With the unit making a noise during the drain cycle, you will want to check the drain pump to make sure that there is nothing caught in the impeller of the pump. If this checks ok then make sure that the impeller is not loose from the shaft. This sounds like it could be a drain pump issue since that is when the noise occurs. Read More...
Jack August 28, 2013 for Model Number MLE2000AYW Washer stops intermttantly during wash cycle. The "on" light will go out stopping the machine then the door lock lite will go out unlocking the door. Opening and closing the tub door and restarting the cycle will cause it to run OK for a while. Sometimes it will shut off a few times during a wash cycle and then sometimes it will complete a full wash cycle normally without any malfunction. Any suggestions will be appreciated that help pinpoint our problem. The occurrence of intermittent operation seems to be increasing. Thanks, Jack
1 Answer Hello Jack. I would look for loose connections in the unit and check the wires for breaks. Also, if they are good, you may be dealing with a board issue with the unit. Read More...
Joe June 01, 2011 for Model Number MLE2000AYW Another problem, which may actually be the main problem, is when the washer is run it will run a cycle but not advance. The control/timer knob for the washer has to be manually turned in order for the washer to operate. Plus, it will not run the spin cycle at all. Any suggestions?
1 Answer Hello Joe. Check the machine control board WP22004325 and see if the R-11 resistor is burnt out. If so, you will need to replace the control board and the wax motor WP22002119 in the door lock assembly. Hope this helps. Read More...
