Todd February 24, 2013 My washmachine pump has magnets in the pump set-up with power to it . How do I determin the pump is bad or not geting the power needed to operate . Maqchine does not drain .
1 Answer Hello Todd. You will test for power to the pump in the unit. If there is power there and the pump does run, replace the pump. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Todd January 06, 2013 for Model Number pump part#W10276397 Washer spins but does not drain, emptied the washer by disconnecting all hoses. Poured water into washer and no flow issues, water drained right back out. Is a broken pump the primary issue? Model is maytag centennial upright washer.
