Mr. Lubtek, if you are getting water into the icemaker, then your solenoid valve is ok, and you will need to replace the icemaker, if no water and the inlet tube is froze up, you will need to replace the solenoid valve.

Mike for Model Number ET1CHEXVB01

Ice maker makes ice but bail arm doesn't move as it should. Each time makes ice we need to push the arm down or it will not make ice. Is there a way to correct this? something is out of sync. This is what was happened before the problem started: ice maker arm was raised to turn off ice maker for a long time about 5-6 weeks. after turning ice maker back on by lowering the arm the ice maker would not make ice. I removed the ice maker and noticed the water coming into the tray had frozen solid right at entry point (in the little half inch square area before going into the tray) so, rinse it under cold water and melted the ice all was clear then re installed the ice maker. never removed the arm during this time , don't know where to go from here.

Mike, This issue sounds like there may be ice around the bail arm that may be causing it to stick. You will want to pull the motor module off and check for ice behind where the bail arm goes in and at where it goes through the fill cup.

Tom, You can reuse the icemaker wire harrness that is on your current unit unless it is damaged in which you would need to purchase the harness separately and would be part number WP2254792.

Ken, The thermal fuse will attach to the side of the icemaker. The new icemaker you received would have had a wire harness with it that you could cut out the thermal fuse and spice it in with the wire harness that is on the unit.

Hello Steve. Make sure the freezer is between 0° and 5°. You need to check and see if there is power going to the water valve when the icemaker cycles. If so, replace the water valve on the unit. Also, check and make sure the fill tube on the unit is not frozen and clogged. If so, replace the water valve and thaw out the fill tube. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html

Sue, Make sure that the freezer temp is correct and also check to make sure that the bail arm is in position properly. If these check ok then it sounds like you may have a bad icemaker.

Hello John, you could try to manually put your icemaker into a harvest mode and check for voltage at the water valve. If no voltage is present, then you will need to replace the icemaker 4317943. Thanks!

Hello Sandra, If the model number is actually ATF1910DRW, this unit did not have an onboard water filter. If a filter is desired, you will need to add one between the unit and the home plumbing connection. This would require the filter TJ60461N and a short waterline TJ9SSIM1 to connect it with.

Mike, It sounds as though the mold of the icemaker is leaking and corroded and would want to replace the icemaker for this issue.
