Dale September 11, 2011 for Model Number mvwb800vqo When my washer is in spin cycle it makes a lot of noise and is leaking oil on the floor under the washer. Can you tell me the most likely part I would need to repair this washer.
1 Answer Dale, There isn't much oil (actually less than 1/4 Oz.) It's most likely dirty, soapy water from the leak at the tub seal. You would need to replace the outer tub assembly W10193887 to have all the parts you need for the repair. Good Luck and Thanks Read More...
Mollie M. July 23, 2011 for Model Number MVWB850WQ1 A silver dollar coin fell between the rotor and the plate on the bottom of the tub. How do I get it out? Will it damage my machine if I leave it. It is not visible, although I tried a magnet unsuccessfully. Thanks.
1 Answer Hello Mollie. Remove the center cap off the wash plate and remove the bolt in the center of the wash plate W11252784. Lift the wash plate out of the bottom of the washer tub and remove the silver dollar coin. Reinstall in reverse order. Hope this helps. Read More...
