Sue, Check the wiring between the temp sensor and the control board and make sure all wiring is connected properly. If this checks ok then the temp sensor would be the most likely cause.

Hello Eric, I'm sorry but if you cannot replace the connectors for the sensor with two 1/4 inch spade connectors to reconnect them, you will have to purchase the complete lower wiring harness for the unit. Thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter.

Hello Rich. If the water temperature sensor (NTC) value is out of range (23°F to 217°F [-5°C to 103°C]) during the water-heating step of the WASH cycle. At room temp, you were reading very high on the sensor. It needs to be replaced.

Mike, If the sensor checks ok then you would want to check the wiring between the sensor and the board. If this checks ok then the issue will be a faulty main control board.

Hello, I have looked everywhere for the part I need but cannot find. The water temperature sensor code appeared on my washing machine. I opened the back and the wire connecting to the wire harness had severed. I attempted to strip the insulation cover of the wire and insert the wire back into the harness but the harness seems to be crimped and does not allow me to put the wire back into the harness. Every part supply I call and every website, including yours, does not offer the wire harness ONLY. Can you help me? Thanks!

Will, If you cannot repair the temperature sensor wire, you'll need to order the main wire harness W10184856 / WPW10184856 . The sensor wire harness isn't available as a separate component. In some cases, some servicers have removed the wire terminals, and soldered the wire directly to the terminals on the sensor. Just be very careful, you coukld damage the sensor if you overheat it. .

Chris for Model Number GHW9150PW1

Hi, the washer does not stop putting water into the washer for long (it pauses occasionally. I looked for a water level sensor, and two sensors are mentioned, but I can only find one. My thinking is the washer is attempting to stabilize the temperature by adding water, but am unsure. Temperature sensor shows an open line from my meter, but the washer periodically sends 4.5 volts DC down the line from what I can tell. Any hints would be appreciated. Thanks!

Chris, If water is continuing to come into the unit while the unit is running after it is full then the issue would be more likely that the water valve is not fully closing and may need a new valve. The other issue could be a faulty control board. the unit should only have water come in at the beginning of the cycle and at the rinse cycle.

Steve, Check and clean any debris or sediment from the fill hose screened washers and the screens in the inlet of the fill valve. "F20 - NO WATER DETECTED ENTERING MACHINE OR PRESSURE SWITCH TRIP NOT DETECTED". If all's OK disconnect the air tube W11252474 from the pressure switch 61002568 and blow in the end of the tube. This will usually clear any sediment or debris that accumulates in the tube. Check the wiring connections at the switch terminals. If the problem persists, replace the pressure switch.
