Ian August 04, 2015 for Model Number WFW8500R00 I am getting an F24 error. I checked the connection and it tried again. No luck. The model number in the door is WFW8500R00 - notice the last two 0s. My temperature sensor looks like it is part of the heater W10426377. My question is - can I replace the temperature sensor by itself or do I have to install an entirely new heater?
Genevieve June 04, 2015 for Model Number WFW8410SW02 I read your Q&A from another member who also needed to replace the temperature sensor on the exact model of their washing machine. He was directed to remove the rear panel as the sensor was not located in the front. However, I can find nowhere to remove the rear panel anywhere. Do you have any insight or direction to do so? Thank you,

Christine March 10, 2015 for Model Number 110.47531700 Hello I just purchased a replacement water temp sensor. There was one black wire from the wire harness attached to the sensor and one that appears to have come unattached. While removing the sensor the second wire fell off. Do both wires attach? Is there a specific way to attach them?
1 Answer Hello Christine. If the wires can not be installed back into the connector, you will need to replace the wiring harness WPW10184855 on the unit. Read More...

Arthur December 17, 2014 for Model Number GHW9250ML0 whirlpool duet washer Error code F05. I checked ohms on temp sensor. Meter read open. Replaced sensor still got code f05 took reading on new sensor that reads open too. Should I get some resistance reading?
1 Answer Hello Arthur. You can not test the sensor for continuity. It is tested for ohms. At room temp it should be around 10K ohms. It sounds like the sensor is not the issue. Check the element. If it is good, and the wiring is good, replace the board. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
