Curtis for Model Number NTW4600YQ0

This is a vertical modular washer. This model did not come with stabilizing tube springs for suspension part number W10400895. That part is shown on the diagram. But not listed in the compatible or needed section. As I understand the history of the VMW. Whirlpool has added the springs to help stabilize the tub. They are sold in packs of two.. but is Whirpool installing a spring on each rod (4)or just on two. I have the parts.. but have not seen a new unit with them installed and site information or diagram does not list number of total centering springs required.

Curtis, Your unit is not showing the spring as a part that is needed. If the unit is getting off balance you can try to put the centering springs on the unit even thorugh they are not necessary.
