Martin January 18, 2019 for Model Number 2DWTW4800YQ1 The model number on my washer is 2DWTW4800YQ0. My washer is wobbling crazily and making a loud racket when in the spin cycle. Will these springs correct this problem?
1 Answer Martin, your model does not utilize the tub centering spring in it's design. You will want to check the counter balance ring for fluid by rotating the basket and then stopping it quickly. You should hear a fluid slosh around at the top. You will also want to check your suspension rods by pressing the tub down as much as possible and then quickly letting go. The tub should rise back up and settle in place without bouncing. If it bounces, you will need to replace your suspension rods W10780048. If you did not hear the fluid in the top ring of the basket (this is an uncommon occurrence), you will need the counter balance ring which is only available with the inner basket W10349185. Another thing you will want to look for is ensuring that your washer is properly balanced. Read More...
