For Whirlpool Lid Check Switch (Part Number: OEM18017193)

Hello Bobby. Disconnect the power. Remove the two inside screws on the back of the control panel and tilt forward. Remove wires from lid switch. Remove the screws securing the lid switch to frame. Reinstall with new lid switch in reverse order. Note: To adjust the lid switch, place a 1" block under the lid in the front. Slide the switch forward until a click is heard from the lid switch. Slowly slide the switch back until the click is heard again and hold in that location. Lock the lid switch assembly down. Hope this helps.

Hello David. If you can stop the water overflow with the timer by turning it off, you will need to replace the pressure switch 207361 and the pressure hose WP22001619. Hope this helps.

Hello Sherly. If the lid switch is blowing fuses, you will need to replace the lid switch assembly WP22001682. The fuse is blowing due to a bad switch. Hope this helps.

Hello Randy. You can try removing the knob and skirt to verify they are not damaged. It sounds like the shaft of the timer is actually on it's last limb. Please refer to the first two digits on the serial number for correct timer, if it's between 10-14 you will want to use 22001686, 15 and above will be WP22002181. Thanks!
