1 Answer Hello Bill. Test the high limit switch WP7403P899-60 and make sure the switch is reading closed for continuity. If it is open, you will need to replace the high limit switch. Thom F September 17, 2011 for Model Number SVE87600B My oven sometimes won't BAKE, even though the reading shows it's preheating and read 100 degrees and doesn't change. Other times after trying different setting (Convention Roast, etc) and returning to BAKE it will heat. I've replaced the Electronic oven control assembly, the Oven temperature sensor kit and the Switch, membrane assembly. I wondering if it could be the High Limit Switch.
