Jim December 29, 2023 for Model Number ak2t36w2 small burner in front sometimes works and sometimes it doesn't. I think it is the switch. What is the number of that switch? Is it much of a job to replace?
1 Answer Jim, the switch W11121639 would be used with the model provided. Unfortunately, we would not be able to identify the level of ease a replacement would be for a specific individual. However, we would be able to say this can be a simple repair. Read More...
Steve February 25, 2023 for Model Number AK2T36E2 The right front burner on this Amana cooktop is labeled a "dual radiant" and when turned on by the switch it will only come on at full maximum heat and won't adjust to lower cooler adjustments. So, if you turn it on it's always on high and cant be adjusted lower. Is there a separate control switch for this type of "dual radiant" burner and if so do you stock it?
1 Answer Steve, Thanks for the question!!! Yes, the switch is the likely issue and it is part number W11121639. Read More...
Handy Dyi August 28, 2018 Your photo for Whir pool Switch OEM 32064502 is correct, the replacement number W11121639 shows the same switch. This is not correct. Look on the back of the switches. The slide pins are different on the replacement number W1112639. Also OEM 32064502 has 5 connections , Replacement , W1112639 has 6 or combination of 4 connections . This could be a problem with a older stove . L. C.
1 Answer Handy DYI, According to the manufacturer the replacement for the 32064502 will be the {AP6278044]. There is one extra terminal that would not be used when the unit has 5 wires going to it. On the old switch is will have a L1, L2, H1, H2, and P. On the new switch it has the same numbers with the exception of H2 which is HC on the new part but will still work the same as the original. Harry K. February 02, 2017 for Model Number ETR646 Yes, I just bought from you replacement parts (WP32064502). All worked good for the six inch burners, but the eight inch is different, and wired different. Either it's a different part -- or replaced before and because it's different than your replacement switch, it is wired different. If your part will fit - can you guide me to hook up the wires.
1 Answer Harry, Unfortunately, we don't have a wiring diagram or service information for the model number you supplied. Based on the parts information we do have, all four switches should be the same part W11121639 / WP32064502, all four switches should have five(5) terminals. L1 is the black wire, common to all the switches. L2 terminal is the red wire common to all the switches. H1 terminal is L1 power out to the element and H2 terminal is L2 power out to the element and the P terminal is power out to the indicator light on the control console. You can use the six inch burner switches that do work as an example. Thanks Read More...

Kenny Z. July 27, 2016 for Model Number AOCD2770WW A while back after a power outage, the clock on my Amana double oven now displays military time instead of 12 hr. There is no menu or procedure to change form 12 hr to military time. Also the clock speed is too fast. With the oven timer set for 60 seconds, it will elapse in 49 seconds real-time. What component would need to be replaced to resolve this issue and is it available.
