This surface burner infinite switch sits behind the knob and regulates power to the cooktop/range element. Replacing a failed switch restores accurate heat settings so the burner can turn on, modulate properly, and shut off as expected.

  • Regulates on/off cycling of the surface element to achieve the selected heat level
  • Sends power to the burner based on knob position
  • Common failure symptoms: burner won't heat, only runs on high, won't shut off, or heats erratically
  • Knob turns but the burner does not respond
What's included: One surface burner infinite switch Install notes:
  • Disconnect power at the breaker before servicing; surface elements operate at high voltage
  • Pull off the knob and remove the control panel/backguard as needed to access the switch
  • Transfer wires one at a time from the old switch to the matching terminals on the new switch
  • Align the shaft to fit your knob, reassemble the panel, restore power, and test operation

Harry, Unfortunately, we don't have a wiring diagram or service information for the model number you supplied. Based on the parts information we do have, all four switches should be the same part W11121639 / WP32064502, all four switches should have five(5) terminals. L1 is the black wire, common to all the switches. L2 terminal is the red wire common to all the switches. H1 terminal is L1 power out to the element and H2 terminal is L2 power out to the element and the P terminal is power out to the indicator light on the control console. You can use the six inch burner switches that do work as an example. Thanks
