Lone Ranger, You will want to check the control board on the inside of the cabinet and make sure that there is 120 vac to it. If there is then check the wiring harness between the user interface board and the control board and if the wiring checks ok then the control board will likely be the issue. The part number for the board is WP8546219.

Jim, NO, you can't do that. The wattage and amperage differences between the two switches will cause the burners to cycle improperly, if at all. The WP7403P238-60 / WP7403P238-60 is for the small 6" burner element, and the WP7403P239-60 / WP7403P239-60 is for the large 8" burner element for the model number you supplied. You need to install the correct switch to the corresponding element for proper operation. Both parts are in stock and available at this time. Thanks,

Hello Shawn. No, you can not use a large switch for the small burner. The temp would not be correct and it could damage the element.

Beth for Model Number WDE101LVQ01

When heating up the oven, the display panel went dark and the oven stopped working. Now the display works only when I turn on the right rear burner to medium and the display comes on. The stove top indicator light does not turn on, none of the four burners get hot, not even the one that turn the display back on and the oven will not go above 100 degrees. When we turn off the right rear burner the display goes dark again. When the display does turn on is says "20" for a couple seconds and then displays the time. I have checked the breaker fuse to be sure that is good and it is. When we took off the control panel we noticed that some of the plastic connectors were burned, the wires are fine. Do we have to replace the infinite switches on all four? Control board? Any help would be appreciated.

Hello Beth, This sounds like you have a harness issue and you should pull the tech sheet and use a test meter to troubleshoot since the clock has lost its' ground or neutral and is pulling it from the surface burners' wiring. A good starting place will be the wiring to the burner that you turn on to get the display to light. Also check the door switch circuit since it carries L1 to the control.
