Dan May 06, 2013 for Model Number whirlpool rf364pxkw My front right burner will not turn off. The light is just stuck on, no matter turning the switch. Looking, do I need the Infinite Control Switch, or the Switch-Infinite? Also, when plugging in my model number for compatibility purposes, it shows that my model is not compatible with the switches that populated when searching my model? Odd. Anyway, your expertise is greatly appreciated! Whirlpool RF364PXKW

Greg H. May 23, 2011 for Model Number FEP310KW2 In the parts list shown on your site by searching for Model Number FEP310KW2, the control switch for the 8" burner is shown as part AP3095444. However, the list of appliance model numbers for which that switch is compatible does not list FEP310KW2. By searching one of your competitor web sites, I found that the manufacturer's P/N for the large burner switch for the FEP310KW2 is 3148953. Searching your site for that P/N brought me to your part AP3029710 (which also lists the manufacturer's P/N 3148953) which shows FEP310KW2 in the list of compatible appliance model numbers. Consequently, I believe that I need AP3029710/3148953 and that the P/N shown on your FEP310KW2 parts list is incorrect. What say you? Thanks. Greg
1 Answer Hello Greg. WP3149400 is the correct switch according to the model number you provided. This is the large element switch. Hope this helps. Read More...
