Dennis January 20, 2014 for Model Number SVE47600B Can you please advise of the process for replacing this part? Also, can you tell me what the difficulty level would be considered for such a repair? I would like this information in order to determine if this is something that I am comfortable completing myself.
1 Answer Dennis, This is not a very difficult process. You first need to remove power to the range (reset the breakers to off) To remove the control panel, open the oven door as wide as possible. Remove four(4), 1/4 " hex head screws from the bottom of the control panel. Grasp the control panel by placing hands on the right and left sides of the panel, pull out and down to disengage. Be careful when removing the panel, you don't want to accidentally disconnect the wires from the switches or the ERC/Clock. Usually there is enough wire in the harness to remove the components from the panel, without needing to disconnect any wires, but if you do, make sure you label or mark any wires you disconnect first, it'll make the re installation a lot easier. Greg December 02, 2013 for Model Number Sve47600B What is a code FC I have replaced the touch cover on the panel, plugged back in and get FC code if that is what it is displayed on the screen, can cook and bake for about 50 Min then time ringer goes off then you have to unplug the unit and do it over again ,
1 Answer Hello Greg. The FC code is a failed communication between the main board and the power relay board mounted right below it. There will be a break or bad connection between the two or the power relay board is bad. Read More...

Ann October 25, 2013 for Model Number SVE47600B The digital display on our Jenn Air slide in range doesn't show until the oven has been working for a while, then you can see it faintly and able to set the clock. Then when it cools down it disappears again. We have tried flipping the curcuit breaker and it didn't fix this problem. Does this panel need to be replaced? Also the light isn't working in the oven, not sure if it is related or the bult went too.
1 Answer Hello Ann. It sounds like the control board WP71001799 is bad and will need to be replaced on the unit. Read More...

Is there some underlying problem that can or has been addressed?
1 Answer Hello Mickey. Only the manufacturer knows if there is an issue with the membranes and if they will be available then. Read More...
Tracy May 23, 2013 for Model Number SVE47600W I am trouble shooting this range, the display shows PF7 and a buzzer sounds until I hit cancel. after 2 or 3 minutes the same thing keep happening over and over. The switch membrane was replace 13 months ago for the same problem. Is there a underlying problem with this range that I might be missing? Thanks Tracy
1 Answer Tracy, The F7 error code indicates a stuck keypad. Try to turn power off to unit for 20 minutes to reset everything and if the error code comes back then the display is faulty WP71002033 and would need to be replaced. Read More...
