Katie B. October 14, 2012 for Model Number 23812100 Hello, on my Kenmore front-loading washer, it quit draining. It goes through wash cycle & just stops. We snaked drains & hoses, all clear. We took off drain pump assembly & see nothing clogging it. It is a tight turn but doesn't seem bad. We now read about the switch assembly. The spot where the lid goes through has a very loose metal piece there. Is something missing? What should we do from here? Please & thank you!
Pam October 13, 2012 I have a lg front load washer and when you push the button for the washer to come on it wont turn on. I had this problem once before but it started working again. Can you tell me why this will not turn it on when you press the start button? Please and Thank You.
1 Answer Hi. Is the door lock light on? Remove the top. It will be advantageous to find the supplied tech sheet inside the cabinet to aid you in the diagnosis. It allows you to put the unit in a diagnostic mode which brings up fault codes and tells you which circuit needs assistance. Use a volt/ohm meter part # MA-DM1 to assist you in your diagnostics. Send us the model # so we can assist you further. Thank You. Read More...

Dawn September 24, 2012 for Model Number LBR4132JQ1 My washer fills and starts washing normally. It stops between the wash and rinse cycle. I can move the knob to just past the rinse cycle and it will start again for a few minutes, then stop. I then have to move the knob to just past the start of the spin, press down on the lid, and hold there while it spins for a few short minutes. Because I'm not getting the full spin, the clothes are more wet than they should be. Help.

1 Answer James, This style washer should fill, then agitate. You need to check the air pressure switch hose for kinks and clogs WP353244 Disconnect the hose from the water level switch W10339326 and blow in it to clear any debris that may have accumulated in the tube. If the problem persists, replace the switch and hose W10339326. Thanks Read More...
William C. July 16, 2012 for Model Number RAB2121kwo The picture of part#3949247 roper lid switch assembly, item # 3100003, shows the green ground wire going to the plug. On the diagram of the washer and on the washer the green wire , ground attaches to the washer cabinet not the plug, will the plug on the washer accept the plug on the assembly since the green wire does not fasten to the cabnet .
1 Answer Hello William, The lid switch has a green ground wire with a brass eyelet connector on the switch end of the harness. If you look closely at the second picture on our illustration page, you can see it. It will connect to the same screw the old one did. As far as hooking to the chassis, so is the green ground. Green always connects to the chassis for the customers' electrical shock protection. The switch end is attached to the wire that goes to the chassis and the switch end is the end that is ground protected. Read More...

Erin June 14, 2012 for Model Number LSB6200KQ0 I have the above model number and it went thru the wash cycle agitated and did everything except spin and drain. Is this the part which I need?
1 Answer Hello Erin. If the lid switch 3949247V is bad on the unit, it will prevent the washer from spinning and draining out the unit. You need to test the lid switch to see if it reads closed for continuity with the lid closed. If not, replace the lid switch in the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
