Randy April 25, 2011 for Model Number Unknown at this time. Washer was working fine, clothes went through the wash cycle and during the draining period the machine totally stopped working. We cannot get it to do anything. Could the problem be the lid switch? I was told that it could potentially be the problem and that if the lid switch is bad it will shut the machine down and nothing will work. Please advise.
1 Answer Hello Randy. Yes, it could be the lid switch. If it is bad, the unit will not spin. Hope this helps. Read More...

Mike March 29, 2011 for Model Number RAS6233JQ0 Hello - My washer stops during the washing and spin cycle. It will resume if you put pressure where the lid strike goes into the lid switch. Can the lid switch be bent up a little or the strike extended or replaced with a longer strike to fix this issue? Or is the only option to replace the switch? Thanks!
