I've heard this is usually a problem with the door switches but may be a controller board. Please indicate your thoughts on this? Ts February 01, 2017 for Model Number WMH31017AS-2 My whirlpool microwave is only 2 yrs old. Sometimes when I open the door the light inside the microwave does not come on. If I shut the door and try to operate the microwave I get error message door. I can open and close the door a few times and the light will eventually come back on. Or I can let the microwave sit for 10 or 15 minutes with the door open and the light will come on eventually and everything will be fine until next time I use it and I have to go through the same thing. I am assuming a switch is sticking/failing but I don't know which switch I need to replace for the door error message.
