For Whirlpool Washer Water Level Pressure Switch (Part Number: OEM20943135)

1 Answer

Joes do, First, check and flush the faucets check and clean the hose screens and fill valve screens are clean and free of any debris or sediment. Then disconnect the air tube from the water level switch and check for twists, kinks, and clogs in the tube(blow into the end of the tube to make sure). Then check the wires between the water level switch and the main control board(CCU). The flow meter isn't a likely issue, but you could also check for debris or hard water deposits built up on the internal surfaces of the inlet/outlet tubes.

Aaron, The firs thing that you will want to check is the screen on the water valve. The screen is most likely clogged up causing a slow flow from the cold water. If this checks ok then the issue would be in the valve.

Blair, The best way to test the pressure switch is by putting the unit into a diagnostic cycle. This information is on the tech sheet on how to put into diagnostics. What this sounds like is maybe a kinked or clogged pressure hose or air dome. Make sure that the screens in the water valve are also clean.

Hello Mike. W11417622 is the pressure switch and is used for the water level. Here is what the manufacture recommends for the F-28 code. 1. Unplug washer or disconnect power. 2. Check wire harness connections to the MCU, the motor, and Central Control Unit (CCU). – Check connections of the CCU board within the housing. – Make sure all grounding switches are engaged. 3. Check the drive system for any worn or failed components. 4. Plug in washer or reconnect power. 5. Verify CCU operation by running a Diagnostic Test or any cycle. 6. Check the MCU by looking for operations of the drive motor. 7. Check that the serial harness at the MCU is not mounted upside down. The wires should be to the left when facing the MCU connectors. If the CCU is new, and the motor and wires are good, then the MCU WPW10384846 is bad and will need to be replaced. Hope this helps.
