Ed July 02, 2011 for Model Number lnc7745a71 dryer was operating fine then stopped running in middle of cycle. the timer is running when in lower position of dial only. checked power throughout and current is there. the drum will not turn in any position.
2 Answers Hello Ed. You will need to test the thermal fuse LA-1053 on the side if the heater housing. It should read closed for continuity. If it is open, you will need to replace the kit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps.http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...

2 Answers Ed, are you sure you have 240 VAC at the terminal block, on the back of the dryer ? Since the timer is running, the thermal fuse is OK, as well as other components, but if the motor has no voltage , and doesn't run, the dryer won't heat, and the timer won't advance on the other selections. The power cord and terminal block, is the best place to start. Good Luck. Read More...

David May 11, 2011 for Model Number PYE4500AYW Dryer won't come on, nothing works including light in drum. It was working earlier today and stopped sometime during the cycle. It acts like it is not getting power, but we do have power from (220)outlet. No smoking parts, burning smell, or visible signs on burnout in control panel area. What's up?

Veronica April 18, 2011 for Model Number PYG2000AWW and LEC5000PW0 The PYG dyer stays on with heat and does not turn off. The LEC dryer does not turn on. I could hear the motor come on.
1 Answer Hello Veronica! On the PYG2000AWW, is the timer advancing over as it should? If not, replace the timer WP31001513. On the LEC5000PW0, if the motor turns on and the tumbler is not turning, you will need to replace the belt. Model LEC5000PW0 does not come up in our systems. I've located LEQ5000PW0, the belt is part number 341241. Thanks. Read More...
