David February 13, 2015 for Model Number 110.69422801 My Kenmore Series 400 electric dryer runs but will not heat. I've already confimed that there is continuity in the thermal fuse and high limit thermostat in the heater box. There is continuity in the heating element. There is continuity in the operating thermistor and the thermal fuse in the blower box. I've already confrimed that I have 240V and 120 V across the power supply terminals...both without and under load. So now I'm focused on the timer. The timer is model W10185976E. I've removed one plug to reveal 3 terminals. I've removed a second plug to reveal 4 terminals. Which termals should I check to determine if the timer is the cause for lack of heating? Thanks!
Dan January 22, 2015 for Model Number NED5100TQ1 My dryer will only run on timed dry low heat. On any other setting it just makes a buzzing noise like the dryer is done with the cycle. Where do I begin? With the thermostat or timer?
1 Answer Dan, With this issue, the most likely cause for the unit making a buzzing noise when trying to start would be a timer issue. Read More...
Scott B. November 02, 2014 for Model Number AED4475TQ1 The auto sense dry cycle only runs for about twenty minutes and doesn't dry the clothes. The other cycles work fine. If I dry on high heat timed cycle I can usually get the clothes dry in about two thirty minute cycles...three if a large load of towels. Does this sound like a problem with the timer or some "dry sensing" part?
1 Answer Scott, you'll need to check the venting to the home and to the dryer. Make sure it is not kinked or clogged. Hope this helps. Read More...

Is this a timer problem, moisture sensor problem or both? Thanks. The gas valve relay coils were replaced a year ago. The dryer is about 10 years old.
