Hello Phil, The only other thing in the circuit that can affect the power to the timer motor is the centrifical switch. Unfortunately, this model does not show it available without the purchase of the complete motor 279827.

Hello Michael. Usually the timer does not cause the element to go out on a unit. You need to replace the element 279838, then see if the timer advances like it should. If so, the element was just bad and burnt out. If not, test for power to the timer motor. If there is power there and the timer does not advance, you will need to replace the timer WP8299778 on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html

Hello Teresa, First, flip the breaker off and back on in case half of the breaker has tripped. You need to check the door switch WP3406105. Many times the plastic door switch actuator, (part the door contacts when the door is closed against it), will break off. If this isn't it, the thermal fuse WP3392519 has probably blown.

Hello Cody. You will need to remove the wires from the element and test and see where you are loosing voltage at by tracing the voltage to the element. Most likely either the timer or the motor is bad if everything else is working. Be careful as you are dealing with live power here. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
