Tina February 22, 2012 for Model Number 11029822800 I have a kenmore self water level. When I put it on different cycles the washer wont wash it seems to rise but the water wont fill. If I put on hand wash it washes perfectly. May this be the timer???
1 Answer Hello Tina. You will need to check and make sure both the hot and the cold water valves are working. Turn the hot water on and make sure the hot comes into the machine. If not, it will need the water valve WPW10175893 to be replaced on the unit. If both the hot and the cold are working, and it just skips the wash cycle, you will need to replace the timer WPW10187167. Hope this helps. Read More...
1 Answer Hello! According to your model the timer WPW10187167 will work on your unit. Thanks! Read More...
Jose January 05, 2012 jose knop hear to pull out from timer,is it a easy way to came out? kenmore 800
1 Answer Jose, Here's the basic information : You will need to remove power to the washer. 1. Remove the two Phillips-head screws securing the front corners of the console to the washer top.( On some models the screws are located on the rear of the console end caps or the end capse a held in place by spring clips and will require a putty knife to release the clip) 2. Tip the console back on the hinges that secure the top of the console to the washer back. Removing the Timer There are two types of timers. One can be identified by a plastic body. The other has a metal body. Plastic Body NOTE: DO NOT ATTEMPT TO REMOVE THE TIMER KNOB BY PULLING FROM THE FRONT. Doing so will damage the split shaft and require replacing the entire timer assembly. 1. To remove the timer knob, push the knob in from the front. 2. At the back of the timer, pull the black tab out approximately 3/16", then pull the timer knob off the shaft.3. Slide the timer dial from the timer hub.4. Unplug the wiring harness connector from the timer assembly terminals. 5. Remove the one (1) Hex-head screw securing the left side of the timer assembly to the console mounting plate. Then lift the left side and slide the tabs at the right side of the timer assembly from the console mounting plate. Thanks and Good Luck Read More...

1 Answer Hello Roger. You will need to disconnect the power to the unit. Then release the two clips under the front corners of the control panel assembly. You will then flip the control panel backwards to access the timer WPW10187167. Hold the clip on the back of the timer and pull the knob off the timer shaft. Unplug the wires going to the timer and release the clips holding the timer in place and slide the timer out of the console. Reinstall in reverse order with the new timer. Hope this helps.
