Dan December 17, 2012 for Model Number Lgb6300pw1 My dryer only came on in wrinkle shield mode. I looked at wiring diagram and discovered I could bypass timer by removing plastic connector on right side and shorting the two wires in the connector with another wire. This made my dryer work fine but I do not know if it proves timer is bad. I am not sure if timer is supposed to receive another signal to activate connection other than the dial.
