For Whirlpool Timer Knob (Part Number: OEM18018699)

Hello Jim. The no heat will affect the advancement of the timer in a auto cycle. Timed dry should work as normal. You will need to repair the no heat issue. Check and make sure you have 240 volts coming to the dryer. Check and make sure the unit is not set to Air Fluff. Also check the heater and thermostats and see if they are good. You can test these with a multi-meter MA-DM1. They should read closed for continuity. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html

Joe, You're going to need to replace the timer WP22003363. That should solve the issue with " spin cycle will only run in the delicate cycle" and "you have to be there to move the switch". Since the delicate spin is a slow speed spin, that should be solved as well.

Hello Jenny. Pull the knob off the timer shaft. Then unsnap the center out of the timer knob WP22001659. Once the center cap is removed, you can unsnap the timer knob from the timer skirt. Hope this helps.
