Jerry October 22, 2011 for Model Number MAV6257AWW Model # MAV6257AWW. The washer start of ok but will not drain. You have to turn the dail to another rinse or still cycle to get it to work. Now the whole thing stopped and it smells like something electrical is burning. the dail make a clicking noise. I open the dail pannel and checked the wires if anything fell off and I can smell the burning smell when I put it back together the machine started working again but it smell like the elec part is burning.

1 Answer Hello Ernesto. You will need to test the lid switch WP22003804. If it is bad, it can cause the problems your having. It should read closed for continuity, with the lid closed.
