Feng July 19, 2013 for Model Number MDG6400AWW Hi, I have the MDG6400AWW Maytag gas dryer with serial number 19659284CT. The old timer switch no longer worked (no response whatever). It was something like 3286B 6 3720660 M285. I got the new 33002855. Is this the right timer? After I put it on, the dryer starts and there is heat. But it doesn't move or auto stop, even when the door is opened (I checked the door switch which is good). I have to press it down to stop the dryer running.
