Johnnie August 01, 2014 for Model Number MVWB450WQ2 I have a Maytag type 580 mod mvwb450wq2 and a Whirlpool Type 581 washer. Both are in need of part AP5325033. I have ordered both parts then noticed I needed the tool Ap5325072. If I was going to just fix one of them at this time do you think I would be better off repair time and money wise to just order the whole tub.

Bob December 26, 2013 for Model Number MayTag Bravos Quiet Series 300 mvwb700vq I need to replace the bearing on my washer. Loud noises on spin cycle and oil in a spin pattern on the floor. Can I replace the bearing assembly ALONE using the tool, or do I have to replace the entire outer tub? Thanks! Bob
1 Answer Bob, Yes, you can install the tub bearing/seal kit W10435302 using the tool W10447783. At present the outer tub is available W10193886, should you choose to use that option. The new bearing and seal kit will solve your issue, just make sure you review the instructions and use the tool, the tool will properly align and seat the bearings in the drum and you shouldn't need to worry about alignment and seating clearances. Timm November 08, 2013 for Model Number WTW6200VWO My Cabrio WTW6200VWO will not complete the wash cycles. It will wash and agitate fine but stops at before Spin then runs a couple of rinse cycles and will stop at spin again with a Sd reading. It will drain most of the water but clothes are left soaked. (Sd reading) I've been using too much pwder soap. I have removed spindle and pulled out the Basket (W10321522) found alot of hard calcified soap inside the tub outer(W10193886). Question: There is still some water INSIDE the bottom of the BASKET (W10321522) It seems to be sealed and I cannot drain it. Turned upside sideways allways but won't spill out. Is this normal or Is the Basket cloged? Is this be my Sd problem? Thanks!
1 Answer Hello Timm. Sd is displayed when the machine/motor control, by analyzing drag on the basket, detects a suds-lock condition, and is steady on while the control then runs a mini-clean out cycle. If the clean out cycle is unable to correct the over-sudsing problem, the cycle ends and Sd flashes in the display. This may signify: ? Load is bunched or twisted around agitator. ? Excessive detergent usage. ? Basket cannot engage during drain step. ? Mechanical friction on drive mechanism, not allowing basket to engage. Read More...
Gene W October 06, 2013 for Model Number Kenmore Elite Oasis HE Model 110.27062602 After purchasing part w10435302 and tool w10447783 and installing bearings two months ago, I am hearing a noise on spin cycle. How can the bearings make noise already? What else could make a noise??
1 Answer Gene, The only way that the bearing may be going bad again is if the part was not seated flush and allowing moisture to get in it and cause the noise. Read More...
Sam J. September 01, 2013 for Model Number WTW6600SW1 My Whirlpool Cabrio washer WTW6600SW1 is making a loud groaning noise when spinning similar to a bad bearing noise. I believe I looked at the correct diagram but did not see any bearings. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
