However, within hours, and moe often than not, water either appears in the drum (amount varies) or can be heard when the drum is hand spun. I've checked all hoses (no kinks & nothing apparently stuck in hoses) and the drain catch (all clean and clear). I don't get any error messages, and water doesn't always return to the drum. It seems most literature I've read about the drain pump motor failing has been it won't drain any water, which is not my situation. Can this issue be attributed to something other than drain pump motor failure?

Phillip August 11, 2019 for Model Number WFW9550WW00 We have had problems with F 21 coming on randomly. I've cleaned out the filter and checked for any obstruction. When the drain pump is engaged the flow from the drain appears strong. It took less than 2 minutes to drain a small load. The one time I was able to observe the error signal come on, it was before the drain pump even came on. It never started up.

In this case it was a sweatshirt prior was a small carpet It appears the washer is not going into the high speed spin in normal cycle, drain and spin or rinse and spin.
