• Won't start

From watching the video I got the general idea, disassemble 50% of the dryer. Only had 2 differences in my dryer from the one used in the video, so the video was helpful. The one difference was the connections to the front side of the dryer were on the power distribution circuit board located on the left of the dryer under a sheet metal cover. I replaced the idler pulley, belt and motor! Motor was the main culprit. The motor has faulty centrifugal switches Integrated into the motor. When tumbler begins to turn, the switch kills The motor. The only way to fix it is replace the prefectly good motor, with a New switch inside. Read more

Had to replace the drum rollers, idler roller and belt. Machine has never been taken apart so it was a learning event as well as cleaning all the internals components.
