James S Arcadia , FL December 16, 2016 Appliance: Model RF 197 ACPN/XAA Refrigerator not coooling Replaced the fan motor & (2) sensor temp harnesses. The cover inside the refrigerator was froze on initially so be careful. I took a hair dryer to defrost all the ice build up behind the cover which eventually loosen for removal. AppliancePartsPros has several videos with there parts online & very qualified personnel to help. If your having issues with this model shut it down for a minute and turn back on. It had to do with the temp control of refrigerator being out of calibration. I logged into the temp control via the touch panel on front and set the proper temp from there. It now maintains 35deg when the touch panel say 35deg. Christopher J Plymouth Meeting , PA August 19, 2018 Appliance: Samsung Refrigerator RF267AEWP/XAA-0000 Samsung french door (15 years old) temp reading 55 degrees Replaced temperature sensor. You MUST let your fridge defrost completely. Leaving it unplugged overnight worked the easiest. Once the ice had completely melted, the total repair took 20 minutes. Be careful! Before pulling the cover off completely, disconnect from rear of fridge. Your temperature sensor is one of the two items unplugged. Go slow, don’t ever yank, have patience and (most importantly) look before you pull anything off.
